H Shape Vertical Shower Door Seal – 8mm Glass, 3-8mm Gap HH08

Suitable Applications and Fitting Notes

The HH08 H shape shower door seal is made for 8mm glass and is used where two straight glass panels meet in a 180-degree glass-to-glass layout. It is designed to help close vertical gaps of approximately 3mm to 8mm.

This profile is useful where the two glass edges are slightly out of line. If a standard H-shape seal does not sit close enough to both panels, water may escape through the side. The HH08 uses a firm clear PVC H-shaped body to hold onto the glass, with soft flexible fins to help bridge the gap and improve the seal.

The 11mm flexible fin gives extra reach compared with shorter-fin profiles, making it a practical option for wider or less even glass-to-glass gaps within the recommended range.

In most installations, the longer soft fin should face towards the inside of the shower enclosure. This position helps direct water back into the shower area and can reduce water escaping through the vertical gap.

In some layouts, the seal may also be fitted with the fin facing outward, provided the smaller flexible fin still makes suitable contact with the opposite glass edge.

For folding and hinged shower doors, check the opening direction before cutting or fitting the seal. The profile should not sit where it may restrict movement, rub heavily or stop the door closing correctly.

This seal is not intended for sliding shower doors, curved shower glass, bottom sealing, drip sealing, shower tracks or guide rails.
