  Yes. Unlike cheap, porous PVC, SIMBA vertical seals are made from Medical-Grade, REACH-certified PVC. This high-density material is non-porous and treated with UV inhibitors, making it significantly harder for black mould and limescale to take root.

• Are these vertical seals easy to trim to size?

  Absolutely. Our seals are supplied in standard lengths (up to 2m) and can be easily trimmed using sharp garden shears for a professional, clean-cut finish.

• How do I know which vertical shower door seal fits my enclosure?

  The most critical measurements are your glass thickness (usually 4mm, 6mm, or 8mm) and the width of the gap you need to bridge. For sliding doors, an F-shape overlap seal is standard, while pivot doors often require a magnetic vertical seal or a bulb-shaped profile.

• Do these seals fit mainstream UK brands like Aqualux, Wickes, or B&Q?

  Yes. Most UK enclosures use standard 4mm to 10mm toughened glass. Our profiles are engineered to be brand-agnostic. As long as you match your glass thickness and the required gap width, our REACH-certified seals will provide a professional fit for almost any brand-name shower screen.
